Hi, and thanks for visiting me!

I am a scientist by day, baker by night, weekend blogger, and full-time lover of all things sugar.

A transplant to the southern U.S., I am a self-taught baker who spends his free time in the kitchen covered in flour.  While I enjoy baking cakes, pies, and brownies, I am particularly enamored with making decorated sugar cookies.

In addition to baking for friends and family, I have also started competing in local baking contests.  I hope to share my adventures in baking here with you.
